Planning Board
The primary responsibility of the Planning Board is to conduct regulatory review and adjudication of special permits and subdivisions, and their associated site plans and evaluate potential changes to the Town’s zoning bylaws. Throughout the permit review process, the Board exercises guidance and ensures compliance to the Town of Danvers Zoning Bylaw, relevant State laws, recommendations from staff or professional consultants, and uses discretion where allowed to act in the best interest of the Town of Danvers.

- Review the application, plans and supporting materials at the Land Use and Community Services Department

Public hearings serve as a forum for the Planning Board and public to review and comment on the proposed project. The scope of the Planning Board's review is restricted to the applicable sections of the zoning bylaw or subdivision regulations as referenced in the legal notice.
