On May 10, 2018, the Town of Danvers celebrated the grand opening of the Endicott Park Nature Center. The Nature Center was made possible by The Friends of Endicott Park, Inc., a recognized 501c3 charitable organization established in 1995 with a mission to support the preservation, conservation and enhancement of this natural, educational and historic resource.

Erika teaching the Kids at the Nature Center The Nature Center brings Massachusetts’ wilderness and wildlife indoors through unique and interactive displays and exhibits. Designed for visitors of all ages, the family-friendly center features seasonally changing exhibitions, hands-on displays and a workspace for arts and crafts. Features include a 150 gallon fish tank with native pond fish, several terrariums home to native amphibians and reptiles, an observation honeybee hive, preserved animal pelts, mounted animals, nature dioramas, and a reading corner.

Staffed by paid and/or volunteer naturalists, the Nature Center offers educational programs to the general public, as well as scout troops, summer camps, after-school and school group programs.
