The Harbormaster's Office is responsible for providing marine law enforcement, rescue, and recreational services to boaters within Danvers Harbor. The Town employs a professional staff of 1 full-time Harbormaster, a Deputy Harbormaster, 6 Assistant Harbormasters, as well as a number of Pumpout Boat Operators and Lifeguards. All are committed to serving our Danvers boating community with courtesy and professionalism.

Located within Danversport's naturally protected harbor are several private marinas including the Danversport Yacht Club, Bunky's Marina, Liberty Marina, Mariner's Point and Pope's Landing Marine. The Crane River Marina is the Town's only public marina and provides dockage for 68 vessels up to 25 feet in length. The harbor is made up of four rivers; the Danvers River, Waters River, Cranes River and Porter River. Collectively, Danvers is homeport to nearly 850 vessels. Fuel and pumpout service station is available at the Danversport Yacht Club

Pope's Landing is located less than 1/2 mile from Route 128 (exit 23). For a minimum charge of $5 ($75 for the season) you can launch your boat using our recently rebuilt boat launch ramp. The Landing also offers public restrooms, a lighted parking lot, scenic park and picnic area. There is a thirty minute tie-up area at the public dock for boaters who want to enjoy the view and use the picnic area.
