Senior & Social Services

The Danvers Council on Aging is a four-time nationally accredited Senior Center by the National Institute of Senior Centers.  The Council on Aging offers a wide variety of opportunities in the areas of health and fitness, nutritional services, outreach and visitor services, transportation service, day and multi-day trips and a supportive adult day program. We encourage you to check out our programs and consider volunteering with us.

Mission

The mission of the Danvers Council on Aging and the Senior Center which it manages is to provide and enhance those programs and services which enrich the lives of older adults in the Danvers Community.

There is no cost to come to the Danvers Senior Center, socialize, take part in the many free activities, or utilize any of the free services we offer. Some activities, classes, and meals have a small cost associated with them.  You may drop in and explore the Senior Center on your own or if you would like a tour, you can call ahead to schedule a time to come in for a tour. You don't need to be a resident of Danvers to participate in our offerings.

You may donate to the  Friends of the Danvers Council on Aging Membership (FDCOA) to receive the Oniontown Senior Newsletter mailed to your home as well as receive a reduced rate on trips, classes, activities and special dinners.
