The Friends of the Danvers Council on Aging fund a substantial portion of the Senior Center Programs. Their support is made possible by the generous financial contributions from members of the community. Projects recently funded by the FDCOA include replacing one of our Senior Center Vans, a new microphone, and the Lifetime Enrichment Scholarship

While anyone can come to the Danvers Senior Center, to share meals and socialize, participate in activities, attend events, and utilize the services we offer, there are benefits to joining the Friends of the Danvers Council on Aging. An annual Friends Membership runs from January to December beginning at $25 a year.

As a Friend (of the DCOA), members benefit by reduced costs on classes, activities, evening dinners, and special events, along with our Oniontown Newsletter mailed to their home each month. Friends also receive discounts for products and services from participating local businesses.
