Social Seniors Supportive Adult Day Program
The Danvers Council on Aging is pleased to announce that we are accepting applications for participation in our unique Supportive Day Program. This program provides a variety of engaging activities designed to promote socialization with other seniors in a safe and nurturing environment. The advantages are numerous and have provided benefits to both the participant and family member/caregiver alike.
We are happy to offer a risk "Free" trial day to experience the program first hand. Financial assistance is also available for Danvers residents 60 and older through the generosity of the Clara and Harvey Pillsbury Foundation.
For more information please call Supportive Day Program Coordinator Michele Kurka or Director, Pam Parkinson at 978-762-0208.
The Supportive Adult Day Program is designed to enhance the quality of life among seniors and is a great way to promote activity and socialization. Participants will have the opportunity to explore new interests as well as develop friendships and gain confidence in a safe and supportive environment. The program staff will work with participants and their families to coordinate care specific to individual needs. We look forward to working together!
