Any interested voter in their respective precincts may appear and introduce themselves as a candidate. Current Town Meeting members will meet with their precincts to vote a new member for the following vacancies:
In Precinct 2: There is 1 open seat due to a failure to elect.
In Precinct 4: There is 1 open seat due to a failure to elect.
In Precinct 5: There is 1 open seat due to Wally Tipert moving to Finance Committee.
In Precinct 8: There are 2 openings due to a failure to elect.
Interested candidates should plan to arrive at 6:45 to begin caucus promptly at 7:00PM. Enter the High School through the Auditorium doors, caucus rooms will be marked to the left, down the hallway with the appropriate precinct number.

Caucus Process
At said meeting, a majority of the members from your Precinct shall constitute a quorum, and they shall elect from their own members a Precinct Chair and a Precinct Clerk. The choice to determine this term shall be by ballot, and a majority of the votes cast shall be required for a choice.
The Precinct Chair and Precinct Clerk shall count the ballots and shall complete a Certificate of Choice and file same with the Town Clerk, together with written acceptance by the member so chosen, who shall thereupon be deemed elected and qualified as Town Meeting Member until the expiration of their term.
