The preferred method to renew your dogs' license is online. Please read the following for details.
The Town of Danvers has created online dog license renewals. Beginning with March 2018 renewals, if you have provided an email address when licensing your dog, you will be sent a link to review, update, renew and pay for your dog license on line. If you would like to provide us your email for your dog license please send an email to the Dog License Team including your name, home address, dogs name(s) and desired email, we will then update your dogs record and send you a link to renew on line.

The Town Clerk is the Local Licensing Authority. An applicant for a Hawker, Peddler, Transient Vendor, Food Truck License must file an application with the Town Clerk.
The fee for an annual license is $50 and will expire on December of the current year. The fee may be waived for those who have and can produce a current state vendor license. Applicants must also appear with a valid picture ID and proof of insurance. All Food Trucks require sign offs by the Board of Health and Fire Department.

The Select Board is the approval authority for One-Day Liquor Licenses. The fee for a Wine and Malt One-Day License is $30, the fee for an All Alcoholic One-Day License is $50. A completed application will be submitted to the Town Clerk along with appropriate departmental approvals, TIPS certification for event Manager along with a $1,000,000 liquor liability insurance binder. Once a completed application is accepted the event Manager will appear before the Select Board.
Please allow sufficient time between submitting your application and your event date. A completed form is required for the request. All requests are subject to the Select Board approval.

If you are not already authorized to officiate wedding ceremonies, you may apply for a one day solemnization license. The Town of Danvers does not process these requests, please contact the State of Massachusetts.

The Select Board is the Local Licensing Authority. An applicant for a Class I or Class 2 dealer license must filed a complete an application with the Town Clerk along with the following fees: $200 payable to the Town of Danvers.
The Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles handles vehicle registrations in Massachusetts.
The receptionist in the front lobby of Town Hall generally handles dog licensing. If the reception desk is unmanned, the Clerk's Office can assist you.
The annual fee for licensing a spayed/neutered dog is $20. The fee is $25 for dogs that are not spayed/neutered. You will need to bring a current rabies certificate and proof of spaying or neutering if that is not reflected on the rabies certificate.
You may license your new dog in person or fill out a Dog License Application and send in the appropriate paperwork.
Existing dog license renewals have been sent electronically via email (February 26, 2018) if you have provided your email address. You can email Dog License Team if you would like an electronic copy of your existing dog renewal. Paper renewals will be sent out the beginning of March if you have not provided an email address.

The Board of Selectmen is the Local Liquor Licensing Authority. An applicant for a liquor license must filed a complete ABCC application with the Town Clerk along with the following fees: $200 payable to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, $75 payable to the Town of Danvers for a filing fee and $50 payable to the Town of Danvers for advertising costs, where applicable and the following documentation: detailed floor plans, a written policy describing the intended practice of patron age verifying and monitoring of alcohol consumption on the premises and an ABCC approved Certificate of Insurance.
