Choate Farm provides approximately 1 mile of marked walking trails through fields and forest. This trail system links directly with the Danvers Rail Trail (Rail Trail link here), and is just a short walk from the Swampwalk. Choate Farm has a small cluster of peach trees which many Danvers residents enjoy in late summer. Picnic tables near either end of the trail provide a relaxing place to enjoy the outdoors. Located directly across the road from the Putnamville Reservoir, Choate Farm has a parking lot with ample space.

Moore Woods

Amenities: Picnic Table, Access to Locust St, Access to Rail Trail.

Moore Woods is a small parcel of land that provides access to the Rail Trail from the Locust St. neighborhoods. A picnic table is located just a short distance off the trail but please be mindful of private property when visiting this location. Moore Woods is a short walk away from Choate Farm, located just north on the Rail Trail.
