DANVERS DECREASES TO LEVEL 4 WATER RESTRICTIONS

Posted on August 3, 2020

Today, Monday, August 3 the Town of Danvers will decrease outdoor water use restrictions to Level 4. This means outdoor watering with sprinklers and/or irrigation systems is allowed on Tuesday and Saturday ONLY from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Hand watering (hand held hoses with nozzles and watering cans) is allowed anytime. Car washing and pool filling are also allowed. Although flow in the Ipswich River is still low, this ease in restrictions is due to consistent water levels in Middleton Reservoir.

The Town thanks you for your conservation efforts. The small changes you made in your water use made a difference! Please continue to watch for changes in the water restriction levels as the summer progresses. The Town will announce changes on Town building signage throughout the Town, local cable access television, the Town website (www.danversma.gov), the Danvers DPW Facebook & Twitter pages, and the local newspapers. If you have any questions on the water restrictions, please call the Water Division at 978-762-0235.
