Danvers DPW to host Storm Debris Drop Off Area for branches and tree material

Posted on March 9, 2018

Due to the large number of trees and limbs down from the last few storms, the Danvers DPW will be allowing Danvers residents to bring loose branches and tree material ONLY to Plains Park near Holten Richmond Middle School at the intersection of Damon and Porter Streets for recycling.

Drop off will be allowed from Saturday, March 10 through Monday, March 19 from 7:00AM – 6:00PM.

This collection is for loose branches and tree material brought down by the storm only.

The materials below should NOT be brought to the drop off area:
• No Construction Debris
• No Shrubs
• Nothing tied up
• No Wire
• No Refuse Bags

If you prefer to wait for curbside collection, seasonal Yard Waste Pickup begins the week of April 8.
If you do have storm related tree debris curbside currently, it must not pose a hazard to pedestrians using the sidewalk or cars on the street.

Thank you for your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines.
