Danvers Electric Division is committed to providing high quality, reliable and affordable electricity and other related services to its customers. Electric vehicles (EVs) are the future of personal transportation and are already offering both excellent efficiency and performance at increasingly affordable costs. That’s why Danvers Electric is pleased to announce its new EV awareness program, Danvers Drives Electric.
Danvers Electric has partnered with Energy New England (ENE) to offer Danvers Drives Electric, an outreach program to inform the electric utility customer about the savings and benefits that come from choosing an electric car and charging it at home overnight.
Additionally, Danvers Electric has updated its Energy Conservation and Rebate program to include a one-time $300 rebate on Level 2 electric vehicle charging stations and associated installation costs. Work is underway to install public charging stations at municipal lots, charging stations for Town vehicles and the addition of EVs to the Town fleet.
In addition to the launch of the new Danvers Drives Electric website, customers will now have access to comprehensive EV resources and support via a toll-free support line (1-833-443-8363) and email (firstname.lastname@example.org) staffed by EV Specialists. Whether new to EVs or already an existing EV driver, Danvers residents can learn more about the different types of available electric vehicles and charging, get connected with test drives and dealers, hear about upcoming local EV events, and connect with discount EV deals available to Danvers Electric customers.
