The construction of the Danvers Rail Trail Extension Beaver Brook Bridge is scheduled to begin the week of September 19th. The contract has been awarded to Aqua Line Utility Inc. and is scheduled to mobilize heavy construction equipment, traffic control barrels, and barriers during the week of September 19th. The construction working times will be Monday through Friday 7:00 am to 4:00 pm. The work being performed at this time will consist of but is not limited to; the construction of a timber bridge structure, embankment stabilization, wooden guard rails, and a stone dust pathway (Phase 1a: Hobart St. to Maple St shown in the image).
The contractor will work closely with the Danvers Engineering Division, to minimize any disturbances while work is occurring on the trail. Due to the nature of this type of construction, you may experience some temporary inconveniences while in the area such as noise, vibrations, dust or temporary obstruction of access to the trail, when the contractor enters and exits the trail from Hobart Street and Beaver Park Road. We ask for your patience and cooperation while the contractor is working on the trail
