Danvers, MA – Since 1997, communities across the country have come together on November 15 to celebrate America Recycles Day.  More than a celebration, America Recycles Day is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to the promotion of recycling programs in the United States.  People around the country will celebrate recycling in a special way during this month.

In Danvers, we are celebrating by offering residents a two-day event where they can recycle a variety of items not collected by curbside pickup!  Recycle outside of the bin!  The Town of Danvers Department of Public Works’ Zero Waste Recycling Weekend will be held on October 23 and 24, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the High School parking lot at 60 Cabot Road.  This residential recycling event is co-sponsored by Simple Recycling, JRM and BoxQ Electronics Recycling.
