Danvers Zero Waste Recycling Weekend  scheduled for October 24 & 25, 2020 has been cancelled.

Since  we will not be able to hold an in-person Recycle Weekend this Fall, we have some other ways to dispose of materials that would have been collected at the event.  Here are some alternative suggestions:

  • Rigid plastics – can be disposed of at the Transfer station (no charge).
  • Metals – can be disposed of at the Transfer Station with a charge of $0.10 / Lb.
  • Textiles – curbside in pink bags with the SimpleRecycling program on your trash day
  • Electronics – Televisions, Computer Monitors, Appliances can be disposed of for a $40 fee at the Transfer Station OR residents can purchase bulky item sticker(s) for curbside pick up either at Danvers Hardware or on-line (above).
  • Paper Shredding – we are researching an option to share.
