Since 1997, communities across the country have come together on November 15 to celebrate America Recycles Day. More than a celebration, America Recycles Day is the only nationally recognized day dedicated to the promotion of recycling programs in the United States. People around the country will celebrate recycling in a special way during this month.

In Danvers, we are celebrating by offering a two day event where residents can recycle a variety of items not collected by curbside pickup! Materials collected include: textiles, e-Recycling, metals, rigid plastics and paper shredding services are available.  Specific details on type, condition and amount of materials collected are listed on our event flyer (link below).  Recycle outside of the bin!

The Town of Danvers Department of Public Works’ Zero Waste Recycling Weekend will be held on October 23 and 24, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Danvers High School parking lot located at 60 Cabot Road.

Call the DPW office with any questions at (978) 777-0001 x3011.
