Lecture Series: “Vegetable Gardening for Everyone”
Join us for an interactive lecture series in our NEW Nature Center! We are partnering with the library to bring in top-notch speakers, along with a mini-library of books related to the topic of that day’s talk that will be available to be rented out right from the Nature Center. Guest lecturers to include researchers, scientists, farmers, professors, or other professionals in the field. Each month a different nature topic is discussed by a different speaker, leaving plenty of time for you to ask questions and engage in thought-provoking discussion with the other attendees.
- June 9th 10am -12pm ($10 per person): “Vegetable Gardening for Everyone” by Master Gardener Susan Hammond: Vegetable gardening is something everyone can enjoy. We’ll look at different types of vegetable gardens and discuss layout, variety choices, and growing techniques.
