How do I register and pay for a program?
Please click on the Registration link at the top of the homepage (red soccer ball icon). You will be directed to our registration page with a link to the online registration site. To register for Programs, you will need to set up an account for your household if you have not already done so. (This must have been done on or after April 23, 2012 regardless of previous activity with Danvers Recreation to enable use of our online registration system). If you already have an account simply enter your username and password, select an activity type from the pick list on the left, or search using the “browse activities” option or the “Search” option using the “Keyword Search”. Once you find the program you would like, click the shopping cart on the left and then click the “enroll now” button at the bottom of the screen. Next, select the family member(s) you wish to enroll and then add to cart. Answer any questions that are asked. Repeat for each program you want to enroll in, then proceed to check out to pay.
What is Danvers Recreation’s Refund Policy?
If you cancel your registration for a program for which Danvers Recreation has paid deposits, purchased equipment, or incurred other expenses on your behalf- your refund, if any, will be reduced by the amount of the expense incurred, plus a $15.00 administration fee. All refunds must be generated through the Danvers Recreation Office.
How do I pay an account balance in the new system?
First, login to the system with your username and password (via the registration link at the top of the homepage with the red soccer ball icon). Once logged in click on the words “Shopping Cart” toward the top, right-hand side of the screen. If you have an account balance, you will be shown the balance and asked if you would like to pay now. Please follow the prompts to process payment.
What is Pickleball?
Pickleball is a fun, social sport that combines many elements of tennis, badminton, and ping-pong. It can be played both indoors or outdoors on a badminton-sized court and a slightly modified tennis net. The sport is played with a paddle and a plastic ball with holes. Games can be played as doubles or singles and enjoyed by all ages and skill levels. Danvers Recreation has 6 pickleball courts located adjacent to the Highlands Elementary School at 190 Hobart Street. To learn more about the sport, click here.

We accept checks, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover. *(Please note we do not accept cash.)
How do I get program information?
There are numerous ways to receive Danvers Recreation program information:
Constant contact is a web-based program which enables Danvers Recreation to create emails and send them to specific groups of customers based on their particular interests and needs. Constant contact also allows us to create surveys regarding our services and programs. These surveys enable us to receive important feedback which we can use to improve our programs. This program is crucial to our overall functioning as it allows us to stay in contact with our customers and ensures that our customers remain up-to-date about all of the great programs and services that Danvers Recreation has to offer. To sign-up to receive Danvers Recreation constant contact emails and surveys customers can subscribe by visiting our website homepage and click where it says ‘“sign up for our newsletter” and fill out the necessary information.

The Town of Danvers’ Recreation website is a great resource for information on all of our programs and events. Our calendar can be found on our website which provides the daily schedule of events and up-to-date information regarding cancellations or programs changes.
