Assessing Department

Administrative Assistant

Performs a full range of administrative and secretarial functions in direct support of the Chief Assessor, but may also provide support to the Assistant Assessor. Plans work assignments for self and one lower-level clerical employee within the department, resolving most problems independently.

Works with a variety of confidential and sensitive issues. Significant responsibility for a variety of administrative functions such as: maintenance of official records and documents pertaining to real estate, personal property, motor vehicle and boat excise and various property tax relief programs.  Independently responds to frequent public inquiries related to assessing department functions.
