Information Technology Department
The Assistant Director of Information Technology drives infrastructure design, development, and maintenance based on the best interests of the town and regional partners. Implements and utilizes the latest technology to ensure the town meets the compliance requirements of, but not limited to, NERC-CIP, NCUA, and CJIS. Evaluate and implement new products ensuring the town keeps up with industry leaders. Performs all other related work as required.
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, business technology or related field; and five years of responsible related experience. Municipal technology experience is preferred; or any other equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Proficient work experience with client systems and application software, including MS Windows, Outlook, and GIS. Demonstrated customer service experience with excellent attention to details. Salary ranges from $33.60/hour to $44.96/hour; starting salary dependent on experience.
