Assistant Site Coordinator | Danvers Recreation

The Town of Danvers seeks qualified candidates to join our team as a Danvers Recreation Fun Club Assistant Site Coordinator for the 2021-2022 schoolyear. The Danvers Recreation Fun Club After School Program is a licensed school age childcare program. This is part-time non-benefited position that performs a variety of duties including assisting with activities planning for the program. This is a great opportunity for college students or recent college grads!

Qualified applicants must have 1-3 years of childcare experience, at least 6 months of which must be spent working with school-aged children. Candidates must possess current First Aid and CPR certifications. In addition, this position requires strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and a high level of confidentiality.

This position works up to 20 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Exact hours are dependent upon the school schedule and may vary slightly due to early release days or school vacations. This is a non-union, non-benefitted position starting at $17.00/hour.

This position will remain open until filled, however, applications received by August 5th will be given preference. We anticipate bringing on 2 new team members as Assistant Site Coordinators.
