The Case Investigator/Contact Tracer will contact patients newly diagnosed with COVID-19 as well as the close contacts of those diagnosed with COVID-19 for the communities of Peabody, Beverly, Danvers, Marblehead, Nahant, Salem, and Swampscott. During these calls, Contact Tracers will document epidemiological information, refer individuals for testing according to established protocols, and provide instructions for isolation or quarantine, as well as connect individuals with supportive services as needed. Contact Tracers are required to follow all scripts, policies and procedures provided by Peabody Health Department, and comply with Massachusetts Department of Public Health training regarding confidential information related to personal information. Contact Tracers must record all data accurately in the electronic surveillance database.
This is a grant-funded full-time (35 hours per week) year-round position, with funding secured through June 30, 2023. Evening and weekend work is required. Three (3) positions are available.
Pay rate: $31.30 per hour, plus benefits.
