Management and Supervisory work associated with the activities of the Street Division, which includes: construction, repair and maintenance of Town streets, drainage systems, and sidewalks; snow/ice control; refuse collection; recycling collection; traffic signs and markings; street sweeping and other related projects as designated.
Develops the division budget. Monitors and controls division expenditures throughout fiscal period. Participates in the development and implementation of short and long-term plans related to the activities of the division. Coordinate the funding of the Warrant Articles for Street Division project with the Director of Operations.
Organizes and supervises all phases of winter operation of the Town, including the supervision of contractors hired to assist in the effort, and the supervision of other Town employees assigned to this division for this activity. Evaluate the effectiveness of the Town’s winter Operation equipment, de-icing materials, and hired contractors.
