The Town of Danvers seeks applications for the full-time benefitted position of IT Office Coordinator with the Information Technology department. The Town of Danvers is a reputable Town on the North Shore, providing a supportive and welcoming environment for Town staff – including a commitment to professional development and policies to support a healthy work/life balance. The IT Office Coordinator provides high level administrative support for the division while providing excellent customer service.  This position may be exposed to all aspects of the IT Department but will be assigned to specific functional areas determined by the IT Director.

The Town will consider any combination of relevant work experience, volunteering, education, and transferable skills as qualifying unless an item in the qualification section of the job description is labeled required. Desired qualifications include any combination of Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, or related field and two (2) years of municipal accounting experience preferred, experience working in a technology rich environment or, office management experience. Advanced understanding with computers and Microsoft Office is required. Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and take on additional responsibilities as required by the position. This position works 35 hours per week. Non-union position (Grade 10) pay scale starting at $55,509 annually, with the ability to move through scale (via step system) to the max step at $67,653. Hiring range DOQ. Excellent benefits.
