The Town of Danvers welcomes applications for the full-time position of Laborer/Floater with the Department of Public works. The Town will consider any combination of relevant work experience, volunteering, education, and transferable skills as qualifying unless an item in the qualification section of the job description is labeled required.
Graduate of High School, trade school or equivalent required; some knowledge and or experience with simple tools used in maintenance and construction work. Completion of, or ability to complete within six (6) months of hire OSHA 10-hr Construction Safety and Health Training, is required. Valid Driver’s License, required. This position works 40 hours per week. Union PayScale (Grade 8) starting at $44,807 with the ability to move through scale to the max step at $51,643. Hiring rate DOQ. Excellent benefits including educational and professional development opportunities.
