The Town of Danvers seeks qualified candidates to join our team for the seasonal position of Pump-Out Boat Operator. The Town of Danvers is a reputable Town on the North Shore, providing a supportive and welcoming environment for Town staff. Pump-Out Boat Operators are responsible for the operation and maintenance of the Town’s pump-out boat.
Qualified applicants must be 18-years-old by the date of hire, and have a current CPR certification through the American Red Cross, American Heart Association or an equivalent issuing authority; current Massachusetts Boating Safety Certificate or equivalent, or have the ability to obtain both of these within two (2) month of employment.
This position works 32-40 hours per week from May through September. The pump-out boat is available to vessels berthed at marinas and moorings throughout Danvers Harbor seven days a week. $15.00 per hour.
