Endicott Park Summer Employment Opportunities

Endicott Park welcomes applications for summer positions. This is a great opportunity for college students or recent high schools graduates to enter into the grounds maintenance field and gain experience working in a variety of general labor roles. The duties and responsibilities for working with our team includes building and grounds maintenance, care of animals in the Children’s Barnyard and public safety and education at Endicott Park. He or she will perform light to heavy manual tasks in a wide variety of maintenance and construction work throughout the 165-acre park and other Town owned open spaces as assigned.

Summer positions work 32 to 40 hours per week for a 13 week period (May to August) with some flexibility in the work hours. The salary for this position is $18.00 per hour. 

The Town will consider any combination of relevant work experience, volunteerism, education, and transferable skills as qualifying unless an item in the qualification section of the job description is labeled required.  Must be at least 18 years old by May 1, 2022;  Graduate of from High School, Trade School or an equivalent, Basic familiarity with hand and power tools, strongly preferred, Valid American Red Cross or American Heart Association CPR for Professional Rescuer or ability to obtain within 4 weeks of hire, required, Valid driver’s license required, Favorable CORI results required.
