Town of Danvers | Site Coordinator
The Town of Danvers seeks qualified candidates to join our team as a Danvers Recreation Fun Club Site Coordinator. This full-time, benefited position performs a variety of duties including planning activities for the elementary-aged afterschool program, manages and trains Group Leaders and Assistant Group Leaders, manages inventory, communicates with parents in a professional and timely manner, and leads monthly meetings for on-site staff members.
Qualified applicants must have 2-4 years of childcare experience, at least 6 months of which must be spent working with school-aged children. Candidates must possess current First Aid and CPR certifications. A bachelor’s degree in Child Development, Education, or related field is preferred. In addition, this position requires strong attention to detail, leadership skills, and a high level of confidentiality.
This position works 30-35 hours per week, Monday-Friday. Exact hours are dependent upon the school schedule and may vary slightly due to early release days or school vacations. Non-union pay scale, starting at $20.72/hour, with the ability to move through scale via step system to a maximum step of $25.24/hour.
