Danvers Senior Center | Supportive Day Program Coordinator
The Town of Danvers seeks qualified applicants for the part-time permanent position of Supportive Day Program Coordinator in the Danvers Senior Center. The Town of Danvers is a reputable Town on the North Shore, providing a supportive and welcoming environment for Town staff. The Supportive Day Program Activities Coordinator manages and implements all aspects the Supportive Adult Day Program (SADP). Coordinates the activities of the SADP within established state guidelines and those set by the Senior Center. Provides, support and minimal assistance to participants of the program with activities of daily living.
The Town will consider any combination of relevant work experience, volunteering, education, and transferable skills as qualifying unless an item in the qualification section of the job description is labeled required. Associate’s degree in health or social services, or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school required; at least one year related experience and/or training; Work experience in activity planning and coordinating large and small group work with special needs populations, elders preferred; Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License and a clean driving record; CPR & First Aid certification preferred, or ability to obtain within first three (3) months of employment; Successful completion of a Criminal Offender Record (CORI) background check.

This is a part-time, Monday-Friday position that will not exceed 19.5 hours per week. Pay rate $25.00 per hour. There are no benefits associated with this position.
