Maple Street & Summer Street – Final Phases of Construction Work

Posted on May 13, 2019

Allied Paving Corporation is scheduled to re-mobilize on site the week beginning May 13, 2019. The Contractor will begin the final phases of the project along with final clean up and restoration.

Allied Paving will have one construction crew onsite to complete the traffic island, place loam and seed, fix any damages and address all requested items that were not completed in 2018.  Due to the nature of this type of construction, residents will experience some temporary inconveniences such as noise, dust, small vibrations and temporary traffic controls used to circumvent vehicles around the excavated trenches & equipment. The Contractor will make every effort to keep these inconveniences to a minimum. This work is weather dependent and may be delayed or extended due to inclement weather.

Traffic signal posts and mast arms are scheduled to be delivered at the end of June 2019.  All post, mast arm and signal head installations shall tentatively be completed by the end of July 2019.  Crosswalks and pedestrian signals will be completed in this timeframe, as well.

For more information, or should you have any questions or concerns regarding this work, please contact Eric Richard of the Engineering Division at 978-777-2668 ext. 3619 or by email at erichard@danversma.gov.

Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation during this project.
