MLK Day
2021 MLK Day Tribute | Each year since 1999, the Danvers Human Rights and Inclusion Committee has brought the community together in a celebration of community and the ideals that Dr. King lived and died for. The 22nd annual tribute was presented virtually via DCAT on January 18, 2021. The Committee wishes to extend its deepest thanks and appreciation to Ben Thomas of DCAT for his hard work in producing this year’s event. AAPI March
Beverly, MA - Asian & Pacific Islanders Solidarity March | The City of Beverly will hold an Asian Americans & Pacific Islanders Solidarity March on Saturday, March 27. Marchers should meet at the Beverly Commons at 4 PM to proceed on the 2-mile march. If you are unable to participate in the walk, the group will reconvene at 5 PM at the Commons for a tribute, guest speakers, and prayer. For more information, visit the City of Beverly website.

Juneteenth
Junteenth: Our First Annual Community Celebration | You’re invited to join the Danvers Human Rights & Inclusion Committee for the first annual Juneteenth community celebration! Join us on the lawn of the Peabody Institute Library, Danvers at 10 AM on Saturday, June 19 for a reading of the Emancipation Proclamation and Danvers Juneteenth Proclamation, followed immediately after with fellowship and a community art project at Kaffmandu Coffee House.
