Shed Requirements

RESIDENCE I

1. 120 square feet of area or less, and 10 feet in height or less, can be 5 feet from the side and rear
property lines and 20 feet from any street property line (permit for zoning purposes only).

2. Sheds over 120 square feet of area and/or taller than 10 feet, have to be set back 8 feet from side and
rear property lines and 20 feet from any street property line (permit for structure and zoning).

RESIDENCE II

1. 120 square feet of area or less, and 10 feet in height or less, can be 5 feet from side and rear property
lines and 30 feet from any street property line (permit for zoning purposes only).

2. Sheds over 120 square feet of area, and/or taller than 10 feet, have to be set back 15 feet from side and
rear property lines and 30 feet from any street property line (permit for structure and zoning).

RESIDENCE III

1. 120 square feet of area or less, and 10 feet in height or less, can be 5 feet from side and rear property
lines and 30 feet from any street property line (permit for zoning purposes only).

2. Sheds over 120 square feet of area, and/or taller than 10 feet, have to be set back 20 feet from side and
rear property lines and 30 feet from any street property line (permit for structure and zoning).

All sheds require a building permit and a certified plot plan to confirm zoning setbacks.
