COVID-19 vaccinations are available to eligible people in Massachusetts according to the State’s phased plan. Phase 2 of the state’s vaccination plan will begin on February 1st , starting with anyone 75 years and older. Registration is now available on the State’s website. The State has opened a vaccination site on the Danvers/Middleton line at the DoubleTree hotel. Additional groups in phase 2 are expected to open through February and March.
To find a vaccination clinic and register go to: www.mass.gov and select COVID-19 Vaccine from the featured services. There are many locations throughout the state and they are updated frequently, so check the website often. If you need assistance registering or do not have access to a computer, please call 978-777-0001, and press 1 and leave a voicemail with your name, phone number and a brief message.
Because Massachusetts is prioritizing state mass vaccination sites, at this time the Danvers Health Department does not have vaccines. If supply is available, the Health Department will hold clinics in town and notify the community.
Vaccine and other COVID related information is also available on the town’s website at www.danversma.gov/covid.
Please continue to wear a mask, practice social distancing, and stay home and get tested if you are not feeling well.
